Meetings

Granola

Granola is an AI notepad that captures meeting audio from your device, so no bot joins the call. It combines your own notes with the transcript and lets you chat across past meetings.

Our verdict

Discreet and pleasant to use, but the free plan keeps only 30 days of meeting history.

Use it for

  • Take meeting notes without a bot
  • Enhance your own rough notes
  • Chat with past meetings
  • Share meeting notes with a team

Other meetings tools

  • Fathom

The free plan includes unlimited recordings and transcripts, which is rare, though some features stay limited until you pay.

FreemiumBest for individuals and sales teams who want generous free recording

  • Fireflies.ai

Covers Zoom, Meet and Teams well, but it records by joining the call as an assistant, and the free plan has fewer transcription credits than paid tiers.

FreemiumBest for teams that want a searchable archive of every meeting

  • Otter.ai

Easy to start with, but the free plan caps each conversation at 30 minutes and keeps only your 25 most recent ones.

FreemiumBest for individuals and teams who want a simple, low-cost meeting transcript
